What our clients say
How our dog training works
Step One: Book an Assessment
Your journey starts with a one-on-one Assessment – an in-depth session where we discuss your goals, your dog’s behaviour, and your lifestyle.
You can book online directly, or our friendly team can take care of the booking for you. Once your spot is secured, you’ll receive a Pre-Training Guide to help you prepare and make the most of your first session.
This initial step ensures we start with clarity, confidence, and a plan that fits your life.
Step Two: Initial meet and consultation
We meet your dog in their real environment – at home or in a chosen location, to observe, assess, and get to know their personality and challenges.
This consultation allows us to identify root causes (not just symptoms) and understand what’s influencing their behaviour, from lifestyle and exercise to confidence and communication.
We’ll talk through everything in plain language and make sure you feel supported and informed from day one.
Step Three: Bespoke training programme
No cookie-cutter programs here. Your training plan evolves as your dog does.
Each lesson focuses on the skills and structure your dog needs in that moment – whether it’s resetting routines, building calm through crating, improving leash work, or addressing reactivity triggers.
We don’t rush the process. If your dog isn’t ready for the next stage, we take the time to build solid foundations first. This ensures lasting progress instead of temporary fixes.
Step Four: Your training options
Training should fit your life, not the other way around.
We offer packages, casual passes, and online coaching to suit every guardian and every dog’s journey. Most families choose a package for consistent progress and best value, but casual lessons and online coaching are also available for those needing flexibility or extra support from afar.
During your Assessment, we’ll help you decide which option best fits your goals, your schedule, and your dog’s needs – so you can feel confident you’re choosing the right path from the very start.
Step Five: Graduation & beyond
On completion of your program, we’ll celebrate your dog’s progress and advise you on the next best steps for their continued growth.
You’re always welcome at Snoot, many of our guardians choose to stay connected through our ongoing services. You can continue your journey with online or in-person coaching, or take it easy while your dog enjoys Excursions and Walk & Train sessions during your workday.
No matter what stage you’re at, we’ll be here to support you because no paws get left behind.

Yes. All new clients begin with an Assessment so we can meet your dog, understand your goals, and build a personalised plan before starting any program.
Assessments can be booked online here, and you’ll receive a Pre-Training Guide to help you prepare.
How long will it take to see results?
Every dog is different and progresses at their own pace. how much effort clients put in affects this.
Most clients notice positive changes from the very first session, but sustainable results come from consistency and practice between lessons.
We’ll guide you every step of the way and only move forward when your dog is ready to ensure no gaps in learning.
What’s your training method?
Whatever your dog needs, we train the dog in front of us and every dog is different. We incorporate clear communication, motivation, and structure.
